Baby Photography
Your Little Ray of Sunshine in the Best Possible Light
Bringing a new baby into the world is an amazing and special time for any parent. Precious as they are, we all know those early days just fly by before you know it. I am there to capture all those exquisite details – the bond between you and your gorgeous baby, their little smiles, their tiny hands, feet and their yawns.
My approach to baby photography is modern, relaxed, informal and fun. Newborn baby portrait sessions normally take place within the first 7 – 17 days, with the best time being under 12 days. That said there is no formal rule of when to take them and I am happy to do a photo-shoot whenever is convenient to you.
All of these baby photo-shoots take place at your home where it is most convenient and relaxing for you. I have lots of beautiful soft blankets and rugs that I will bring with me and will use natural window light to photograph your baby.
Baby Photo-shoots
Our baby photo-shoots typically include a mix of lifestyle photography, beautiful baby portraits and photographs of baby and parents (and siblings too!). The session will be relaxed and baby-led, with plenty of time for feeding and changing.
I take a huge amount of time and care editing each of your photographs because I believe in creating beautiful pieces of artwork that you will fall in love with, right down to each tiny toenail!
I recommend you to book early to guarantee availability.
Whether you choose to mark all the milestones – newborn, five months, eight months and first birthday – or just one, I will ensure that you have pictures that you will treasure forever, capturing your family in a beautifully artistic fashion. These photographs will be works of art that your children will be proud to have still hanging in the house when they are teenagers.
Children’s Portrait Photography
Our children grow up a lot quicker than we would like them to! I specialises in a fresh, spontaneous approach to children’s photography that captures the spirit and sparkle of each child to create a collection of timeless memories.
The purpose of my photography is to create natural, relaxed pictures of your children.
Pictures that capture their personalities, providing a lasting reminder of a moment in their childhood both for you and for them for years to come.
By photographing on location or in your own home, I am is able to capture images of your children in their own happy environment. The results of the photoshoot reflect who they are and show them having fun in their favourite places.
Babies Child Photography Portraits as art
At jmc-photography the intention when photographing you and your family is for the images to be turned into beautiful pieces of art that you are proud to display in your home and that your children will treasure once they are grown up and have children of their own. It’s for this reason that each photograph taken is designed to be a stand-alone beautiful image in itself. I work hard for each of my clients to create timeless, meaningful portraits and I want them to look PERFECT evert time
My Children’s Portrait packages start £300
- Approximately 1-2 hours at your chosen location. This can either be a mobile studio at your house or out on location at your favourite park, woods or beauty spot such as Windsor Great Park
- Approximately 40-50 beautifully fully edited images to select from.
The purpose of my photography is to create natural, relaxed pictures of your children that capture their personalities, providing a lasting reminder of a moment in their childhood both for you and for them for years to come.
Post Portrait Shoot
Soon after your Baby or Child Photography portrait shoot I will get to work on editing the session and selecting the best images from the day. This process takes me approximately two weeks and I notify you when they are ready.
You will then be invited back to my barn at a time that suits you to view all your beautiful images of your photo-shoot. At this session you can decide on the Portrait Package you would like to go for. If you would like any further Gift Items, Wall Art or Albums these can also be purchased in addition to your Portrait Package.
